My paternal grandfather John Churton, RX4/235563, private, Royal Army Service Corps. He is on your Roll of Honour.
He was found drowned in the canal at Scarisbrick after leaving Wigan Institution on 8 April 1920. He left a widow and five children, they lived in Hindley.
I would appreciate any information at all regarding him.
Thank you for putting his name on your Roll of Honour ensuring his lasting memory.
